Mineração Serra Verde conducts its activities within the highest national and international ethical standards.

Supported by the C-Level (“Tone at the Top”), Mineração Serra Verde has an Ethics and Compliance Committee – plural, independent and autonomous, which has as main objectives:

(i)    disseminate the principles and values contained in the Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Policy and the Code of Ethics and Conduct
(ii)   supervise its compliance
(iii)  mitigate risks and
(iv)  to prevent, verify and punish the practice of acts and facts provided for in anti-corruption laws (Brazilian Anti-Corruption Law, FCPA and UKBA).

To support its corporate governance, Mineração Serra Verde structured a Compliance Program to promote ethical culture and compliance, providing several actions, such as:

One of these of actions that must be highlighted is the Compliance Campaign, called “Extract Positive Actions: This is Compliance”, in which Mineração Serra Verde, in addition to encouraging and driving all to ethical, legal and positive attitudes, addresses sensitive topics of its program, such as: Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Policy, Code of Ethics and Conduct, Conflict of Interest, Interaction with Public Agents, Sustainability, among others.
